What we collect
Skip Solitaire Pro collects the following information:
- Anonymous device ID. A random UUID generated the first time you launch the app. Used to recognize your device for multiplayer rejoin and leaderboard ranking. Not tied to your Apple ID, email, name, or anything else identifiable. Stored only in your app's local settings; never transmitted to advertising networks.
- Display name. The name you choose (or the one we randomly generate on first launch — "WittyTiger", etc.). Visible to other players in multiplayer rooms and on the public leaderboard. You can change it any time.
- Coin balance. Sent to our relay server when it changes, so the public leaderboard reflects your latest score.
- Avatar image (optional). If you choose a photo from your library, a small (256-px) JPEG is stored locally on your device and transmitted to the other players in your current multiplayer room. The original is never uploaded.
- Live multiplayer game state. Card plays, moves, voice chat audio, and chat-equivalent reactions flow through our relay in real time during a multiplayer match. None of it is logged or persisted — it's routed peer-to-peer through the relay and forgotten when the game ends.
- IP address (incidentally). Your IP is used to route the WebSocket connection to our relay. Standard server logs rotate within a few days and are not used for tracking.
What we do NOT collect
- No email address.
- No real name (only the display name you choose).
- No location.
- No contacts.
- No browsing history.
- No photos other than the one you explicitly pick as an avatar.
- No microphone audio outside of an active multiplayer voice session.
- No third-party analytics (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
- No advertising IDs.
- No advertising networks.
Where the data lives
- On your device (local app settings).
- On our self-hosted relay server in Germany. Coin balance and display name are persisted to disk for the leaderboard; everything else is in-memory during your session.
- That's it.
Children
The app is rated suitable for 4+ and contains no objectionable content, but multiplayer voice chat is unmoderated — parents may want to disable voice (Settings → microphone permission off) for younger players. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.
Your rights
To delete your leaderboard entry, email [email protected] with your display name; we'll remove it within a few days. To delete everything local, just delete the app — there's nothing else stored anywhere personally identifiable.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes get a banner in the app on next launch.
