The legal bits. Short and reasonable.

Acceptance

By using Skip Solitaire Pro (the app, this website, or our multiplayer relay), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service is free to play

Skip Solitaire Pro is free to download and play without ads. We may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, to top up your coin balance or unlock cosmetic items more quickly); any such purchase is clearly labelled with its price and is never required to play the game. In-game "coins" are a cosmetic currency with no real-world value; once spent or earned in-app they cannot be redeemed, transferred, or refunded for money outside Apple's standard App Store refund policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to disrupt the multiplayer relay or interfere with other players' sessions.
  • Use the in-game voice chat to harass, threaten, or harm other players.
  • Impersonate another person (your chosen display name is your responsibility).
  • Manipulate the leaderboard with automated tools, modified app builds, or coordinated cheating.
  • Reverse-engineer the multiplayer wire protocol for purposes other than personal curiosity or interoperability.

We reserve the right to remove leaderboard entries, block IP addresses, or refuse service for behavior that violates these terms.

Intellectual property

The Skip Solitaire Pro app, source code, and assets (other than the Kenney CC0 base cards) are © the developer. The website content here is © the developer.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app and website are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep things working but can't guarantee uninterrupted service, bug-free play, or that your multiplayer match won't disconnect at the worst possible moment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. The developer's total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid via in-app purchase in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is lower.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app on next launch.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer resides. Disputes you can't resolve by emailing us first go to the courts of that jurisdiction.

Skip Coins (website store)

You can top up your Skip Coins balance at <a href="/store/">skipsolitairepro.com/store/</a>. Payments are processed by <a href="https://paynow.gg" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PayNow.gg</a> (our payment service provider). When you complete a checkout you authorise PayNow to charge the displayed amount to your selected payment method. The displayed price is in EUR and includes VAT where applicable for your country of residence.

Skip Solitaire Pro never sees or stores your card details — only PayNow does. We receive your billing email, country, and the order total so we can credit your coin balance and meet our VAT record-keeping obligations.

Refund policy for digital goods

Skip Coins purchased through the store are digital, non-consumable content delivered to your account immediately on payment. By completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that this consent waives your right to the 14-day cooling-off withdrawal period under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16(m)). Skip Coins are non-refundable once delivered.

Exceptions where we will refund:

  • Technical failure on our side — we charged you but no coins were credited. Contact [email protected] with your PayNow order ID (starts with pn-) and we will either credit the coins manually or issue a full refund.
  • Duplicate charge — refunded in full.
  • Unauthorised use of your payment method — handled via the chargeback / dispute flow with your bank.
  • Statutory rights — nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

Bug reports and disputes should be sent to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 3 business days. If we cant resolve a dispute amicably, EU consumers can use the European Commissions Online Dispute Resolution platform at <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr</a>.

Pricing and currency

Prices on the store are listed in EUR including any applicable VAT. We may change pricing at any time; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Chargebacks

If a chargeback is initiated against a purchase, the corresponding Skip Coins will be debited from your account when the chargeback is upheld. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with a pattern of fraudulent chargebacks.
